Date: Thursday, June 8, 2023  |  Time: 7:30 pm

Location: Laudamus Auditorium, Canadian Mennonite University (CMU)

Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg wrote three violin sonatas, all examples of his musical nationalism, containing as they do references or similarities to Norwegian folk song. The three sonatas will be performed by violinists Cathy French, Karl Stobbe and Oleg Pokhanovski, with pianists John Novacek and Paul Williamson, and will be contrasted by evocative guitar intermezzi performed by Canada’s most celebrated guitarist, Daniel Bolshoy.

You are invited to join us at 7:00 pm for "Meet violinist Cathy French with host Andrea Ratuski".
