The Agassiz Spirit

We acknowledge with gratitude that we are here on Treaty 1 Territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg, Ininew (Cree), Oji-Cree, Dene and Dakota Peoples, and homeland of the Red River Métis Nation. We acknowledge that our water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation. We offer our thanks to the First Nations for their care for, and teachings about, our earth and our relations. It’s important that we honour those teachings through our interactions today and into the future. We are honoured to be able to share beautiful music on this land.
