Meet the Artist - Karl Stobbe

Before settling into a night that's sure to be a hit of the festival, take a moment to meet the artist. Our host, CBC's Andrea Ratuski, will be having a casual conversation with accomplished Canadian violinist and this evening's concert curator Karl Stobbe about this year of pandemic, this year's virtual festival and the opportunities for chamber music post-pandemic.

Rosza - Sonata for Two Violins

Kodaly - Serenade for Two Violins and Viola

Brahms - Piano Quartet in G Minor

Chamber music is about connecting the artists and their instruments with each other and the audience. At its heart, chamber music is about friendship. Join us in Winnipeg as the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra's Karl Stobbe brings together his chamber music friends to connect for a lively performance featuring works by Rosza, Kodaly and Brahms.
