Voodoo Dolls

CONCERT DETAILS

Date: Friday, June 9, 2023  |  Time: 7:30 pm

Location: Laudamus Auditorium, Canadian Mennonite University (CMU)
500 Shaftesbury Blvd., Winnipeg

Voodoo Dolls was commissioned in 2008 and choreographed by the JUMP! Dance Company of Rhode Island. It captures the mystery and primal fear engendered in some 20th century music. Similarly there is a dark side to these works by Britten, Rachmaninov and Bridge (Benjamin Britten’s beloved teacher) - a folksy yet brooding tension and threat.

You are invited to join us at 7:00 pm for "Glimpses of the Future", featuring two young Manitoba artists.
